STEP 1
Download the app
Welcome to your Eufy Security app. You would have had your Eufy system set up for you by Purpose Group but in the
event you need to add a new member, here is how you go about it. The first thing you have to do is get the person you
are inviting to download the app and set up a Eufy account.
DOWNLOAD APP
1. Open your app store and type in Eufy Security in the search bar. Click Get to download the Eufy app.
CREATE ACCOUNT
1. Once downloaded, open the Eufy app. Before you begin, you need to create an account. Click the Sign Up button to begin.

1. Enter your email and desired password. Tick to agree to Terms of Service and click the Sign Up button.

VERIFY ACCOUNT
1. Once you have clicked Sign Up, Eufy will send you a verification email. Click Open Mailbox to check for the email.
2. Take note of your verification code or long tap to copy the code.
3. Tap on the Eufy activation link to proceed.
4. Enter the verification code number in this field or tap to paste if copied.

Setting Up Your Account
SUCCESS SCREEN
1. You will be directed to the success screen once everything has been processed. Simply close out of this screen by pressing the home button or swiping it away.
LOG IN TO ACCOUNT
Now open your Eufy app and log into your account
1. Enter your email and password.
2. Click Log In button.
CHOOSE REGION
1. Tap on Choose Region field
CHOOSE REGION
1. Type Aus in search bar until Australia shows in drop down menu.
2. Tap on Australia to select it.
3. Tap Next button to continue.
CONFIRM
4. Click Confirm button.
CONNECT TO WIFI
1. Click OK to connect to WiFi
ALLOW ACCESS
2. Click OK to Access Your Home Data.
3. You can choose if you want to set up two factor authentication. And you are set up.

Home Mode
When you are at home, you may want your camera to record events but you may not wish to be notified of every motion detected. Simply select what you would like your system to do when you are at home.
Away Mode
When you are away, you may wish to receive notifications for any motion detected and you may want your camera to sound in the event someone tries to remove it. Simply select what you want your system to do when you are not at home or overseas.
Goodnight Mode (custom)
You may wish to create a custom mode for times when you are alone at home and in bed and wish to have the rest of the house on detection alert. Simply select what you want your system to do when you are asleep.

Battery Maintenance and Charging
This article answers some of the most common questions you may have with eufy Security camera battery maintenance and charging.
Because this security camera system is wireless and battery powered. You have some extra things to take into account that you wouldn’t necessarily have to think about with a fully wired system.
The three main questions this article will answer are:
How Do You Know When a Eufy Battery Is Charged or needs charging?
Your Eufy application displays the status of the battery level for each camera on the main screen and you can easily see the percentage charge of the battery of each camera. (see page 4)
How do you charge a Eufy Camera?
Eufy cameras are advertised to have 365 days of battery charge for a normal use cycle. Note that the battery will drain much faster if you connect your Eufy camera to Apple Homekit or Google Home. In order to charge your Eufy cameras. You would just detach them from their mount and use a regular USB micro charging device. A USB charging device has been plugged into the back of your HomeBase unit ready for charging. If you have spare USB micro chargers, you will be able to charge more than one camera at a time by simply plugging them into a regular power outlet.

How do you replace a Eufy Battery?
The short answer is you can’t. Removing the battery will result in damaging the security camera. The waterproof rating will be ruined.

HOW TO
unmount your eufy camera for charging
There are two ways to charge your Eufy Camera when the battery is running low. You can charge the camera using a USB micro charging cable and plugging it into the back of the Eufy HomeBase or plugging it into a 5V USB charger. If you have a few micro USB chargers, you’ll be able to recharge more than one camera at a time.
Exterior Camera Screw Mount
Turn the base screw in an anti-clockwise direction to loosen the camera and remove it from the mount.
To remount, screw the cap back onto the wall mount and tighten it by turning it in a clock-wise direction. Adjust the camera to your desired position by checking the camera view on your Eufy app.
Internal Camera Magnetic Mount
For magnetic mounted Eufy cameras, simply pull the camera away from the mount on the wall to remove. To remount, simply clip the camera onto the magnet mount. Adjust the camera to your desired position by checking the camera view on your Eufy app.
HOW TO
Charge your eufy camera
There are two ways to charge your Eufy Camera when the battery is running low. You can charge the camera using a USB micro charging cable and plugging it into the back of the Eufy HomeBase or plugging it into a 5V USB charger. Method 1 - Charging using HomeBase
When installing your Eufy Cameras, we usually leave the micro USB charger plugged in to the back of the HomeBase unit ready for you to charge your cameras when needed. Simple remove your camera from it’s hinge, open the little silicon flap on the back of the Eufy camera and plug it into the micro USB cable to charge.
Method 2 - Charging using 5V USB Charger
If you have a spare 5V USB charger, you can also charge the Eufy camera into a power outlet. Simple remove your camera from it’s hinge, open the little silicon flap on the back of the Eufy camera and plug it into the micro USB cable and 5V Charger into a power outlet to charge.
